By the time we got to our station, the train was almost empty.

Our first stop was the Santa Cruz Church, built by the Portuguese Catholic community in 1770
Over the river and through the woods
In the garden, was a quiet little coffee shop.
Along the river, there were some very interesting old buildings
We got off at Sanam Chai, an MRT (subway) station on the Chao Phraya River
We had a Thai guide waiting for us, and she took us to the river to get on a ferry to the other side

Until we reached a little family-run bakery, making Portuguese cakes, just as they were taught 100’s of years ago.
After we were done eating, we headed off to a small Portuguese Museum
It was a very old Portuguese house with lot’s of artifacts and interesting facts.
We stopped for a cold drink
