Benjakitti or Benchakitit Park is located in downtown Bangkok. It is a beautiful, well-manicured 178-acre park on the site of the former Thailand Tobacco Monopoly. It opened in 2004 to commemorate Queen Sirikit's 72nd birthday. It is especially popular for walking, cycling, photography, birdwatching, and enjoying sunrise or sunset against the city's skyline.
