Old Town Newmarket. Lots of great restaurants and shops

The weekend we were there, there was a big Artisan Festival along the small lake downtown

The weather and setting were excellent.

Across the street, at the same time, was Newmarket’s Weekend Market

There was also hot meals from around the world.

Along with the almost 100 artisans, we were treated to the culinary talents of Canada’s premier outdoor chef, Ken Everson

I was looking to play chess, but everyone was either shopping or taking pictures of the chef at work

Rows and tables of fresh fruits and vegetables.
