Our little boutique hotel was on this street. It also had a bakery with the best bread I have ever eaten.

Denmark is a coastal European country, sitting between the North and Baltic Seas, consisting of over 400 islands which may explain the development of the Viking seafaring culture from 793 to 1066 ACE. It is an ultra-modern nation with integrated social welfare programs, universal healthcare and education, high levels of income equality, and consistently ranks among the world's happiest countries. It has a population of 5.9 million, and its capital is Copenhagen.
We visited in June/July 2008 and spent most of our time in Copenhagen and the surrounding area. During the last two days of this trip, we went to Aarhus and Silkeborg. While Denmark was a bit expensive, we enjoyed every minute we were there.
