Kenya is an East African nation with a population of 55 million people.  With Nairobi as its capital and English and Swahili as its official languages, it is a major hub for agriculture, technology, and tourism.  The oldest human fossils ever discovered were found in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley.  In the 1400’s, the region was controlled by Portugal and then by the British in the late 1800’s. It fought for and won independence in 1963. The country’s first prime minister and later president was Jomo Kenyatta, a key leader in the independence movement.

I did a horrible job of organizing these photos, so I just threw them together and put them in three sets
