We took this trip to Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur in September 2008. While Glenna and I had been to Malaysia before, it was our first time going together and our first time visiting the island of Langkawi. We were living in Saudi Arabia at the time and wanted a beach vacation, and several people recommended Langkawi. It is a quiet island famous for its beaches, mountains, forests, wildlife, sky bridge, cable car, and parks. It has a population of about 70,000
In Langkawi, we stayed at the Berjaya Beach and Resort. It was in the middle of the jungle, right on the beach.
