The white building on the left is the Kunstkamera, built by Peter the Great in 1714, which became Russia’s first museum. The yellow building is the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Downtown St. Petersburg
We spent most of our afternoon here. Unfortunately, photography was not permitted. However, it was so crowded that I couldn’t get near any paintings or sculptures. Very frustrating and disappointing
