We, unfortunately, only spent a couple of days in Stockholm and didn’t see the rest of Sweden.  From what little we saw, it was awesome, and I hope we can return to see more of the country.

Sweden is located in Northern Europe on the Scandinavian Peninsula.  It borders Norway, Finland, the Baltic Sea, and the Gulf of Bothnia and is the largest country in Northern Europe.  Sweden has a population of 10.7 million, with most people living in the capital, Stockholm, or Gothenburg and Malmö.  It is one of the world’s wealthiest and most developed countries with universal healthcare and education.

We visited Sweden in July 2008.
