Of all countries posted on this new site, the pictures for the UAE are by far the worst. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for 16 years, we would frequent the UAE at least once a year. Yet, I could only find pictures from our old website, the first time we went. We have been to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, yet all you are going to get here are some blurred pictures of Dubai. The UAE is a modern, energetic region, and I am embarrassed about what I am presenting here. The pictures were optimized for slow dial-up speeds, so they are small and pixelated.
The UAE is a federation of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah. It has a population of 11.7 million, with 80% living in major cities. The UAE is one of the most internationally diverse societies in the world.
