The Great Buddha, Bodh Gaya, Bihar — An 80-foot statue of the Buddha seated in meditation. Completed in 1989, the Japanese-style statue stands in a landscaped Buddhist complex near the Mahabodhi Temple.

Back in the town of Bodh Gaya, outside of the major Buddhist Complex, there are restaurants, hotels , shops, and temples set up by separate Buddhist organizations. This is the Royal Bhutanese Monastery (Bhutan Temple)
