We were off to the old Kanto Mura, and what was once Chofu High School. We are standing next to Tobitakyu Station.

The walk from the station to the base is now unrecognizable

We looked like a group of zombies struggling down the road.

It looks like there were some old base buildings still left standing.

733-D Looks a bit stark now

After touring the old Kanto Mura, we went to Kichijoji to visit Shakey’s Pizza, where we ate as kids. Not the best pizza, but it was fun to go back.

Near the station, as we walked out to the street (Koshu-Kaido Ave) in front of the base.

Kanto Mura is now the home of a university, a football stadium, a track stadium, two police training facilities, a major heart research hospital, a nursing home, and a sports training complex

And then, some more resting.

A much different place when we lived there

We were pretty tired walking around the area, so we had to rest, a lot.

Way back in the day

I bet Tim couldn’t do that now
