Pictures from Past Trips

Many years ago, Glenna and I were in the teacher staff lounge eating lunch.  Everybody was excited about our upcoming two-week break and planning their next trips.  Halfway through the discussion, a teacher asked me where we went during the last long break.  I couldn’t remember.  It had been only four months, and I had no recollection of where we had gone or what we had done.  I turned to Glenna, and she gave me a blank “I don’t have a clue” stare.  We spent a lot of money on many trips, and we couldn’t remember where we went just a few months earlier.  Over the years, we have thousands of pictures and have had them all printed.  They, however, ended up in a box, shoved into another larger box with more photos, and pushed into the closet or under the bed.  When we moved, we crammed those boxes into a larger moving box and shipped them off to our next home.  When we unpacked, we shoved those boxes back into a closet or back under a bed.  The pictures on our phones usually sat there until they were deleted a year or two later.

We are going to try to change this. On this webpage, we will catalog many of those photos and get rid of the boxes.  We probably won't look at them, but we will have more room for our shoes and Glenna’s purses. 

All of the flags below are linked to specific trips. Most of the pages are a mess, with old scanned photos reduced to smaller file sizes mixed with larger pictures from later vacations. Again, this is just our photo album and not really meant for a professional-looking website. I tried to find the older raw pictures or restore those older photos, but I was not successful
